(OSHKOSH, Wisconsin) – Tillamook Country Smoker’s four-ounce beef jerky packages are the industry’s first-ever to combine an easy-open feature with a new resistant technology built into the food contact side of the package. The package utilizes Curwood’s IntegraScore® feature for easy opening and anti-transfer film technology to insure a clear view of the contents.
The IntegraScore feature is a proprietary easy open scoring technique offered exclusively by Curwood. The score initiates and guides tear in the machine direction of the package. The feature insures the consumer easy access by allowing the top portion of the film to come off like a hood. Upon opening, a press-to-close zipper is exposed to allow for easy resealing.
The window in the package is critical for marketing to consumers, who want to see the quality of the package contents. Curwood’s AntiTransfer technology is built into the food contact side of the film to resist oil and food additives from building up on the film surface. This guarantees a clear and true presentation of the product to the consumer of the packages contents.
